HOW STEM HAS IMPACTED THE STUDENTS ?

WHAT IS STEM?

  • STEM is a curriculum based on the idea of educating students in four specific disciplines — science, technology, engineering and mathematics — in an interdisciplinary and applied approach.
  • Rather than teaching the four disciplines as separate and discrete subjects, STEM integrates them into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real-world applications.
  • STEM programs can create individuals capable of new solutions and better decisions. Experiences cantered on design, innovation, engineering, and technology increase creativity, inventiveness, ingenuity, and imagination capabilities.
  • STEM education helps students transform their minds in the form of centralized innovation and fosters their ability to solve problems. STEM programs can create individuals capable of new solutions and better decisions.

Mission And Vision

The mission of the STEM@RBMI is to increase student achievement by engaging students in innovative science, technology, engineering and math instruction.

The RBMI Group of Institutions will provide a continuous pathway of education through opportunities that create STEM-literate graduates ready to accept the challenges of advanced education beyond course curriculum to meet the needs of future workforce.

Why STEM

  • STEM education emphasizes with a concept-driven approach that would strengthen students’ analytical knowledge, problem-solving abilities.
  • Lack of proper teaching materials, the absence of interactive learning, have created a dark side in students mind regarding maths and science.
  • Which results into under-qualified students graduating year after year who struggle a lot with the increased competition in the real world.
  • Report from 2011 records that two-fifth of employers are unsuccessful in finding employees with the required prowess in STEM education.
  • The consequences are clearly emphasizing the need of promoting STEM education in India.

What we do under STEM@RBMI

workshops

Aims to give brief description about the new ideas or innovation done at RBMI under STEM@RBMI project. It generates the ability to create new under the students

Carnival

An initiative to cultivate the student’s interest in STEM and develop their potential, as well as to enhance their competitive trait. To develop this we do CARNIVAL in which students present new ideas in form of model.

Industry Interaction

We provide schools the platform to get the students visit in industry and et the knowledge about live working by using our Industry Interface.

Lab Usage

An initiative to provide the lab facility for the students if any school is not having proper lab or the equipment of labs.

Faculty Exchange

This module will help to do resource sharing of the best resource of school or the institute. Which will enable the students to learn some new and differently.

STEM education helps students transform their minds in the form of centralized innovation and fosters their ability to solve problems.
